Hyderabad traffic authorities will introduce a one-way traffic system around KBR Park from August 18 to ease congestion and facilitate construction works under the H-CITY project.
The new traffic arrangement is expected to remain in place for around 18 months. Authorities have already conducted trials in two phases and made necessary modifications based on the results.
The system will include 24-hour traffic monitoring, directional signboards, and updates to navigation apps to help motorists follow the revised routes.City Police Commissioner C.V. Anand? — according to the information provided, Sajjanar — said strict action will be taken against wrong-side driving. A dedicated lane will also be provided for emergency vehicles to ensure smooth movement.
