Konda Surekha Questions Congress MLAs’ Satisfaction With Revanth Reddy Government
Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Konda Surekha has raised questions over the functioning of the Revanth Reddy government in Telangana. She urged ministers and MLAs to speak openly about their concerns.
Surekha asked whether Congress ministers and legislators were genuinely happy with the administration under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
“You are not happy. I know it, and you know it,” she said, according to the remarks circulated in political circles.
‘What happened to me can happen to you’
Surekha reportedly appealed to fellow Congress leaders not to remain silent.
“What happened to me today can happen to you tomorrow,” she said. She called on ministers and MLAs to come forward and express their views.
Her remarks come amid growing political discussions over differences within the Telangana Congress. Recent reports have also highlighted tensions between Surekha and the state leadership.
Konda Surekha raises concerns over election promises
Surekha also alleged that the Congress government had failed to deliver on several promises made to the people.
According to her, the gap between promises and implementation has created dissatisfaction with the government.
She suggested that the Congress leadership should conduct a survey to assess the level of public opposition towards the party.
“I suggest conducting a survey on the opposition among people towards the Congress party,” she said.

The comments add another layer to the ongoing political developments within the Telangana Congress. Surekha has been openly critical of the way the party leadership has handled recent issues.
Reports on Thursday said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy removed Surekha from his cabinet. The move followed an internal dispute that had intensified after remarks made by her daughter, Konda Sushmita Patel, against the Chief Minister.
Surekha has said she will continue as a Congress MLA despite losing her ministerial position.
