*Hyderabad, September 7, 2024* — A delegation of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) legislators, led by party floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, met with Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) to demand swift and strict action against those responsible for recent attacks on Muslim properties and religious sites in Jainoor, Asifabad.The delegation expressed concern over the rising communal tensions in the region, urging the DGP to take immediate measures to bring the miscreants to justice and ensure the safety of the Muslim community in the area. According to reports, several properties and religious sites were damaged during the attacks, sparking fear and unrest among the local Muslim population.AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi has also voiced his support for the call to action, emphasizing the need for communal harmony and the protection of religious sites. The party has called for the police to maintain law and order and prevent further escalation of violence.The Telangana DGP assured the delegation that a thorough investigation will be conducted, and those responsible for the attacks will be dealt with according to the law.
