Secunderabad Man Goes Missing from Gandhi Hospital: Family Appeals for Public Help

Hyderabad, July 22, 2025:

In a concerning incident, a *46-year-old man, identified as Soppaku Lakshmi Narayana, has been reported missing after he *left Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad, in the early hours of July 17 without informing anyone.

The missing person’s report has been officially filed at Chilkalguda Police Station under Lookout Notice No. 10.369/2025, and the search is currently underway.

Heartbroken Mother Files Complaint

According to the complaint filed by his mother, *Smt. Soppaku Prameela, a 64-year-old homemaker from **Muggu Basthi, Kavadiguda, her son had been unwell for several years, both physically and mentally. After losing his wife Lakshmi Bai due to illness nearly eight years ago, Lakshmi Narayana fell into depression and became addicted to alcohol and toddy. His deteriorating health has also led to episodes of *fits and seizures.

Due to his fragile condition, the family admitted him to Gandhi Hospital on the evening of *July 16, 2025. However, to their shock, *he left the hospital without informing anyone around 1:00 AM on July 17.

A Pattern of Disappearance, But This Time Feels Different

Prameela mentioned that her son had previously wandered off from home but always returned after a few days. This time, however, he hasn’t contacted any friends or relatives, and the family’s exhaustive efforts to trace him have so far been unsuccessful.

The family is deeply concerned due to his medical condition and addiction issues, and they fear for his safety.
