Shah Rukh Khan Injured During Shoot of ‘King’; Advised Rest, Film Schedule Postponed

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly sustained a muscular injury while shooting an intense action sequence for his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The incident took place at *Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai, sparking momentary panic on the set.

Injury Causes Brief Panic, But Actor Is Recovering

According to sources close to the production, the injury, although not serious, required medical attention abroad. “It was a muscular strain, and while it’s not a major concern, it’s also not being taken lightly,” a production insider confirmed.

SRK has flown to the *United States for specialized treatment, and doctors have advised him to *take a one-month break from work. As a result, the film’s planned shooting schedule for *July–August has been cancelled. The next leg of filming is now expected to resume *after September 2025, once Khan has fully recovered.

While Khan’s team has remained tight-lipped about the specifics of the injury, his manager Pooja Dadlani is reportedly in New York, according to her recent Instagram story – adding weight to the reports of SRK’s treatment in the US.
