Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated Telangana’s athletes who showcased an outstanding performance at the *7th All India Prison Duty Meet 2025, held in Hyderabad from *September 9 to 11.
The national-level event, organized by the *Prisons Department, witnessed active participation from various states across India. Out of a total of *133 medals awarded during the meet, Telangana bagged an impressive *28 medals, including *21 gold and 3 bronze, reflecting the state’s growing sporting excellence within the department.
Telangana’s Achievement Recognized
At the conclusion of the event, senior prison officials and medal winners met the Chief Minister, who personally lauded their efforts and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. CM Revanth Reddy praised the athletes for bringing pride to Telangana and highlighted the importance of such national duty meets in boosting morale, discipline, and teamwork within the force.
