*September 26, 2024 – Hyderabad*The Telangana government has issued directives to District Collectors, Division, and Mandal officers to ensure that a photograph of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is installed in all government offices by October 7, 2024. This order, released today, comes after growing concerns from political leaders and officials about the absence of the Chief Minister’s photo in offices across the state, even nine months after the Congress-led government took charge.A sample photograph of CM Revanth Reddy has been provided by the government, and all offices have been instructed to follow the format. The government made it clear that every government office at the district, division, and mandal levels must display the photo by the given deadline. This move is in response to criticism from some leaders about the lack of representation of the Chief Minister in government offices, which is seen as an important symbol of authority and leadership. The Congress government has acted swiftly by setting a firm deadline for compliance and issuing clear orders to all relevant authorities. The installation of the Chief Minister’s photograph is seen as a step to reinforce the presence of the new government across the state. All government offices are expected to comply by the deadline of October 7.
