In a devastating incident, three members of the same family were found dead in their home in Waddepally village, Yedapalle mandal of Nizamabad district, on Saturday morning. The deceased have been identified as Suresh (53), his wife Hemalatha (45), and their son Harish (22). The family is believed to have taken their own lives due to severe financial distress.According to reports, a relative of the family discovered the trio unconscious and immediately alerted neighbors, who informed the local police. Preliminary investigations suggest that the family had been struggling with mounting debts, which worsened after Harish reportedly lost around Rs. 20 lakhs in online betting.The family, which had sold their farmland to manage their debts, faced insurmountable financial pressure. Unable to cope with the situation, Suresh, Hemalatha, and Harish are suspected to have collectively made the tragic decision to end their lives.Police officials arrived at the scene and transferred the bodies to Bodhan Government Hospital for postmortem. The authorities are continuing their investigation, though early signs point to financial issues related to online betting as the primary cause of the suicides.This tragic incident highlights the growing concerns around the impact of online betting on vulnerable individuals and the devastating consequences it can have on families.
