A serious road accident near the Begumpet bus stop on Tuesday morning led to heavy disruption during peak traffic hours. The incident occurred when a speeding truck reportedly lost control and crashed into a Mahindra Thar travelling ahead of it. The force of the impact crushed the Thar’s rear portion, while the truck overturned and blocked the main carriageway.
Traffic Comes to a Standstill
The overturned truck brought vehicles to a halt across the busy stretch. Commuters stopped their vehicles to avoid further collisions and alerted the police. Traffic teams reached the spot within minutes and began clearing the damaged vehicles. Officers also diverted cars through alternative lanes to reduce congestion.
