Hyderabad: Nampally court on Thursday, August 13, granted bail to Nawab Mahboob Alam Khan, the second accused in the murder case of Telangana High Court advocate and Waqf activist Khaja Moizuddin.
According to his lawyer Muzzaffar, Mahboob Alam Khan was granted bail after producing two sureties of Rs 1 lakh each. However, his son Mujahid Alam Khan, who is the prime accused in the case, was not granted bail.
On August 3, the court had granted police two days’ custody of the accused after considering a petition filed by the investigating officer on June 22. The case was registered at Nampally Police Station
