In response to the escalating civil unrest in Nepal, the Telangana government has set up a special emergency helpline at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to assist citizens stranded in the crisis-hit country.
Officials confirmed that the initiative aims to extend help not only to Telangana natives in Nepal but also to their families back home. So far, there have been no reports of injuries or missing persons from the state.
Government Coordinates with MEA and Indian Embassy
The Telangana administration is working in close coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to ensure the safety of its citizens and facilitate possible repatriation when conditions allow.
Authorities have appealed to the public to rely only on official advisories and avoid panic caused by unverified information circulating on social media. The government reassured families that it remains fully committed to safeguarding its people during the ongoing crisis.
