Justice Sanjiv Khanna Sworn in as 51st Chief Justice of India

*New Delhi, India* – Justice Sanjiv Khanna was officially sworn in as the 51st Chief Justice of India (CJI) on Monday, November 11. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to Justice Khanna during a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent dignitaries.Justice Khanna takes over the role from Justice DY Chandrachud, who retired on Sunday, November 10, after reaching the retirement age of 65.
