The monsoon has made a powerful comeback across the Telugu states. A fresh spell of rain is drenching several districts in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, bringing temporary relief from the heat but also raising concerns of flooding in low-lying areas.
According to the *India Meteorological Department (IMD), the combined effect of a monsoon trough and a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal is triggering widespread rainfall. Many parts of *Telangana are witnessing heavy downpours, leading to waterlogging in urban areas and overflowing streams in rural regions.
The weather department has issued a *yellow alert for the entire Telangana state, cautioning the public about possible thunderstorms and strong winds. In certain districts, the warning has been upgraded to *orange alert, anticipating intense spells.

Meanwhile, neighboring Andhra Pradesh is also likely to see scattered showers. The weather office has issued an orange alert for the districts of:
- Kurnool
- Anantapur
- Sri Sathya Sai
- Chittoor
Other districts may witness moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, especially during evening hours.
Residents are advised to stay indoors during peak rain hours and avoid waterlogged roads. Farmers and daily commuters should remain cautious due to potential disruptions.
