Alwar, Rajasthan: A school principal in Rajasthan’s Alwar district has been suspended after a video showing him swimming and playing in a dam with Class 11 and 12 female students went viral on social media
The principal had reportedly taken the students to the dam as part of an educational trip. When some of the students entered the water, the principal allegedly removed his clothes and joined them in the water.
After the video surfaced online, the matter came to the attention of the Education Department. Officials found the principal’s conduct to be a violation of service and code-of-conduct rules and subsequently suspended him.
Authorities are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and the conduct of the school trip.
