In a dramatic turn of events, Shilpa Reddy, president of the BJP State Mahila Morcha, has accused renowned Tollywood choreographer Shaik Jani Basha, popularly known as Jani Master, of perpetrating a case of “Love Jihad” involving a 21-year-old woman. Reddy alleges that Jani Master subjected the woman to five years of torture and called for stringent legal action against him.The BJP leader pointed to a previous conviction in 2019, where Jani Master was sentenced to six months in prison for assaulting a woman at a college in 2015. “This is not an isolated incident,” Reddy asserted. “Jani Master’s history of criminal behavior demands serious consequences.”Reddy also criticized the State government, accusing it of stalling the investigation and protecting the accused. She claimed that influential figures in the film industry and ruling party leaders may be involved, contributing to the delay in justice. Reddy urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who oversees the Home Ministry, to address the public and clarify the lack of progress in the case.The allegations come amid ongoing legal proceedings against Jani Master, who is currently facing charges of sexual assault.
