New Delhi, July 24: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) National Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka on Friday said the organisation has clearly conveyed the sentiments of the people to the Central Government, insisting that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan must resign.
Speaking after the latest round of talks with the government, Ranka stated that if the resignation demand is not accepted, the CJP will announce another nationwide protest. He added that the government has responded positively to two of the three key demands raised by the protesters and expressed hope that a written agreement would be reached soon.
According to CJP, the government has sought additional time to decide on the demand for Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. The protest movement, centred on accountability over alleged examination irregularities, continues at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar while discussions between government representatives and CJP leaders remain ongoing.
