Hyderabad CP Personally Inspects KBR One-Way Traffic System on Bike

Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, IPS, personally inspected the newly implemented one-way traffic system around KBR Park on Thursday. In a low-key visit, the Commissioner travelled on a motorcycle in civilian clothes to assess the traffic situation on the ground like an ordinary commuter.

He travelled twice along the route from Road No. 45 through Jubilee Check Post, Venkatagiri, KBR Park Main Gate, Mugdha Junction, Basavatarakam, Agrasen Chowrasta and Film Nagar Junction before returning to Road No. 45.

The Commissioner also reviewed the traffic situation during the afternoon and interacted with police personnel deployed at key junctions, including Agrasen Chowrasta, Film Nagar, Journalist Colony, Jubilee Check Post and KBR Park Main Gate.

Sajjanar said that traffic around KBR Park was moving smoothly under the new one-way system. The system was introduced on Wednesday, and while commuters faced some confusion over lane changes on the first day, traffic had become much smoother by Thursday.

He said clear signboards had been installed at all major junctions and adequate police personnel had been deployed to prevent inconvenience to motorists.

The Commissioner added that the police were coordinating with GHMC and the construction agency to complete the H-City project works at the earliest. He appealed to citizens to cooperate until the works are completed and follow the instructions issued by Hyderabad Traffic Police.
